This role centers on the responsibilities that define expert geriatric nursing in LTC, including comprehensive assessments, medication administration, chronic disease management, fall prevention, wound care, and infection control. You’ll lead care planning discussions with residents, families, and the broader care team, ensuring documentation is precise and compliant with regulatory standards. Your clinical judgment will support pain management, palliative and end-of-life care when appropriate, and rehabilitation activities that preserve function.
