The Role

The SAP Sales and Service Senior Consultant is expected to perform high-quality project work for our customers, continue to build the SAP S/4HANA Sales and Service capability in North America, and foster its continued growth within our Operations Excellence service unit. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, will be responsible for the strategic direction for MHP Americas SAP S/4HANA Sales and Service consulting services, and will be required to set actionable objectives, create a culture of accountability, and take a hands-on leadership approach to execution. Our customers and the value we offer is central to everything we do. With this in mind, this person will be required to ensure the quality of our services for our existing client base, cultivate relationships with new customers, develop new business opportunities, and continuously adjust our existing and future offerings according to market demands.

Responsibilities

  • Work on challenging projects in management, process, and technology consulting with a focus on the Automotive and Discrete Manufacturing industries
  • Develop innovative concepts and implement sophisticated consulting solutions in the fields of Sales, Service and SAP
  • Deploy optimized concepts in terms of process, quality, and cost
  • Foster long term relationships with clients
  • Identify and lead business development opportunities
  • Achieve a strong reputation as a business advisor
  • Take over responsibility as (sub) project team leader

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or equivalent education. 

Experience:

  • 4+ years of work experience in consulting or in the automotive industry 
  • 4+ years of work experience in the consulting industry
  • 4+ years of SAP Sales module experience
  • SAP Service module experience preferred
  • 3+ full SAP lifecycle implementations
  • SAP S/4HANA experience and/or training preferred
  • SAP S/4HANA certifications preferred
  • Project management or team lead experience preferred
  • Fluency in English (multi-lingual preferred)
  • Professional demeanor with a strong customer focus
  • Analytical and structured working attitude

Percentage of required travel: up to 100%

Physical requirements:

  • This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time while traveling in a car or airplane.
