Job Title: Angular Web Developer - Specialist (Mid-Level)
Location: Raleigh, NC 27699 (REMOTE)
Duration: 12 months contract
Role Summary: Angular Web Developer to assist existing contractor to develop, troubleshoot, support, and maintain migration of NC ECHO site from Angular.JS to Angular.
Position Overview Web Applications Developer:
A portion of the NC ECHO application was implemented utilizing Angular JS which is a discontinued free and open-source JavaScript-based web framework. Support for Angular JS ended in January 2022.
The application also utilizes Breeze , an open-source component used to communicate between Angular JS and the data. This component is also no longer supported.
While the application is still working, we urgently need to move to a solution that can be supported. The business and ITD believe the most sustainable course is to rewrite the impacted sections of the application using .NET .
The rewrite will require someone skilled in Angular JS , Breeze , and .NET .
