CCHCS seeks to fill a Permanent/Full-Time Research Data Manager position in the Medical Services Division – Electronic Documentation and Decision Support Unit.

Under the administrative direction of the Deputy Medical Executive, Medical Services Division, the Research Data Manager (ROM) leads and manages analysts and specialists responsible for planning, development, testing, implementation, maintenance and modeling of complex documentation, clinical decision solutions and record structures within the Electronic Health Records System (EHRS) that support providers and other clinicians in delivery of patient-centered, team based care and promotes interdisciplinary communication and collaboration, and appropriate, safe, timely, efficient and cost-effective services. Ensures systems and infrastructure to maintain data integrity within the EHRS. Provides oversight in the use of data for purposes of studying and optimizing adoption of workflows by clinicians and improving documentation and decision support tools within the EHRS environment. Integrates clinical operations and business process control and improvement methodologies at each stage of EHRS content creation.

About the location – Headquarters, Elk Grove

The position(s) is eligible for hybrid telework,  in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.
