Central Coast Home Health & Hospiceis a fast-growing locally owned andoperatedorganization with an excellent reputation throughout the Central Coast. We are now seeking a full -time Medical Social Worker to workwithboth Home Health and Adult Hospice patients in the San Luis Obispo-Coast area (San Luis Obispo Los Osos Morro Bay Cambria). This individual will be working in our Hospice and Home Health Program with a lot of autonomy and flexibility while also receiving meaningful direction and supervision from an LCSW. Clinical Supervision is available.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Sociology Psychology Human Development or masters degree from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
• Minimum of one-year social work experience in a healthcare setting home health &/or hospice experience preferred.
• Understand thehospice philosophy and issues of death and dying
• Reliable vehicle to drive for work
• Current Drivers license
• Clean background & driving record
• Maintain auto insurance coverage
• CPR certified
