The Senior Facilities Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight of the Licensee Facilities as a Service Program. This role ensures the successful coordination of preventive and reactive maintenance, vendor management, process implementation, technology integration, and data reporting across a national portfolio of retail food and beverage locations. This role oversees a team dedicated to executing maintenance programs, ensuring compliance, optimizing costs, and upholding service standards.

This position is based in Atlanta, Georgia (Midtown) and reports directly to senior leadership within Colliers Facility Solutions as the primary point of contact for key client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership and Oversight

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the entire facilities management team, ensuring alignment with client objectives
  • Oversee the execution of preventive and reactive maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with service- level expectations (SLEs)
  • Establish and enforce standardized processes and best practices across all functional areas of the program
  • Monitor team performance, set goals, and conduct regular business reviews with internal teams and clients


Technology and Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of CMMS software to streamline work order tracking and vendor coordination
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting platforms, providing actionable insights
  • Develop predictive analytics models to optimize maintenance scheduling and resource allocation.


Vendor and Licensee Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the client, licensees, and vendors for issue resolution
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with service providers, tracking performance and adherence to SLEs
  • Work with licensees to gain approvals on maintenance proposals and coordinate service execution
  • Identify opportunities for vendor consolidation and cost-saving initiatives


Compliance, Safety, and Risk Management

  • Track and report on preventive maintenance program compliance, identifying areas for improvement
  • Support the development of corrective action plans for non-compliant locations
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize downtime and improve operational resilience


Stakeholder Communication and Program Growth

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for executive leadership and client stakeholders, providing regular updates on program performance
  • Develop and Present business reviews on KPIs, financial metrics, and operational successes
  • Identify and execute program expansion opportunities, onboarding new licensees and implementing scalable maintenance solutions
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to explore new service offerings and strategic partnerships


Qualifications And Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • Seven or more years professional experience in facilities management, construction management, or commercial buildings
  • Prior experience leading/managing direct reports
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills, with strong attention to high standards of customer service and negotiating sensitive management issues.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in maintenance tracking software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to travel within an assigned region as needed
  • Dispersed Property Experience (600+)
