Salary: 110,000 - 190,000 USD per year Requirements:

• Preferably a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in developing REST APIs using Google’s GoLang and/or Java.
• Deep understanding of REST principles and Chaos engineering.
• Strong experience with any NSQL databases (CouchBase and ETCD is preferable).
• Deep understanding of security integrations (Okta, mTLS, SSO, HashiCorp Vault).
• Deep understanding of API Gateways and their functions.
• Experience with container and cloud orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform).
• Deep understanding of CI/CD processes and tools (GitHub/Actions, Docker, Jenkins).
• Fair understanding of infrastructure fundamentals (DNS, F5, Certificates, Containers, monitoring tools, logging analytic tools, firewalls, and security policies).
• Successful track record of developing middleware solutions, emphasizing code quality, unit testing, integration testing, code quality analysis tools, and API (Swagger) documentation.
• Familiarity with agile application development methods and a general understanding of quality engineering processes.

Responsibilities:

• In this Senior Engineer role, you will be part of a highly talented team responsible for building scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based services within our hybrid platform-as-a-service (PaaS). Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Collaborating with the API/Orchestration engineering team, UI engineering team, quality engineering team, and product management to build scalable, high-performance quality API and orchestration solutions.
• Researching and applying recent technologies and libraries that enable lean product development, focusing on chaos engineering.
• Implementing API/middleware solutions that integrate with NSQL, platforms, Kubernetes, and public cloud systems.
• Protecting APIs with security integrations such as Okta, SSO, mTLS, and HashiCorp Vault.
• Implementing best software practices to produce maintainable code, including usability patterns, code style conformity, integration, unit testing, and code review.
• Enhancing and implementing best practices in our existing CI/CD processes within Cloud Engineering.
• Demonstrating a willingness to learn new technologies and taking pride in developing working software quickly.
