Job Title : Salesforce Developer

Location: Canada - Remote

Experience: 1 to 3 years - 4 to 6 years - 10+ years

Job Overview : We are seeking a skilled and motivated Salesforce Developer to join our team. The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom Salesforce applications and solutions that meet the business needs of the organization. This role requires expertise in Salesforce technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and integrations with other systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with business analysts, administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality solutions that enhance business processes and functionality.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Salesforce Customization & Development :

   • Develop and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components to meet business requirements.
   • Create custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and process automation using tools like Flow, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules.
   • Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware, and web services.

2. Salesforce Lightning Development :

   • Develop responsive Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura components to provide modern, user-friendly interfaces.
   • Customize Salesforce Lightning Experience to improve the overall user experience and functionality.

3. Apex & Code Development :

   • Write and maintain Apex classes, triggers, and batch jobs to automate business processes and ensure seamless functionality within Salesforce.
   • Implement complex business logic using Apex and ensure proper test coverage for deployments.

4. Integration & API Development :

   • Build and manage integrations with third-party systems, applications, and databases using RESTful APIs, SOAP, and other integration methods.
   • Ensure that data flow between Salesforce and external systems is seamless and reliable.

5. Collaboration & Requirement Gathering :

   • Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
   • Provide technical expertise and guidance during the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions.

6. Testing & Quality Assurance :

   • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure that custom code works as intended.
   • Work with QA teams to ensure that the developed features meet business requirements and quality standards.
   • Write test classes to ensure proper code coverage and to meet Salesforce deployment requirements.

7. Deployment & Release Management :

   • Use Salesforce deployment tools such as Change Sets, Ant, or Salesforce DX to move customizations from sandbox to production environments.
   • Plan and execute releases and ensure minimal disruption to business operations.

8. Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting :

   • Monitor and optimize the performance of Salesforce applications, identifying and resolving performance issues.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integrations, code, and platform performance.

9. Continuous Improvement :

   • Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce features, tools, and best practices.
   • Suggest improvements to the development process and contribute to the overall strategy of Salesforce implementation.
