TekWissen is a global workforce management provider headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan that offers strategic talent solutions to our clients world-wide. Our client is a company operating a marketplace for consumers, sellers, and content creators. It offers merchandise and content purchased for resale from vendors and those offered by third party sellers.

Position: Project/Program Manager II

Location: Miami, FL 33134

Duration: 11 Months

Job Type: Temporary Assignment

Work Type:Hybrid (Open to remote but needs to be in office once a week)

Job Description:

• Responsible for the coordination and completion of project/program.
• Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program.
• Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project/program.
• May require a bachelor's degree and 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Familiar with a variety of events concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Story Behind the Need Business Group & Key Projects:

Business Group:

• Events team for prime video (LATAM Canada, New Zealand, and Australia)
• Team focuses on premiers, screenings, docs, planning for what is needed to support (global titles)
• Planning events with agencies, and working on getting new agencies
• Overall regional titles, junkets, talent tours, media tours, etc.

Key Projects:

• Plan for the year, but there may be some variance
• 7 projects for the remainder of the year, next year has a lot more complex project with big titles to promote
• Typical Day in the Role:

Day to Day:

• A lot of planning/meetings/call with regions due to different local titles in each region
• Planning for what's going to come in the following months for screenings/premiers
• Ordering DCP's/ opening PO's
• Planning events mainly
• Working on docs for plans
• Presenting to execs to the events they will be going to
• Working with different parts of the business (Games, Books, etc)

Interaction level with team:

• Overall team: weekly syncs
• Each territory: weekly syncs
• HM daily interaction

Candidate Requirements:

Leadership Principle:

YOE:

• Looking for someone bilingual (Spanish)
• At least 5 YOE in EVENTS PLANNING EXPERIENCE
• Experience with LATAM is preferred
• Experience with

Resume stand outs:

• Portuguese would be a plus
• Anything events specialist, manager and ABOVE
• Very organized/ need someone on task

Top 3 must-have hard skills

• Really great at writing
• Bilingual experience is a must (Spanish)
• 5+ YOE in Events Planning
