Schedule: Part-time, flexible hours

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is crucial to maintaining the financial health of our company and ensuring accurate reporting. The Bookkeeper will working closely with the leadership team to manage financial records, process transactions, and generate reports. This position may be a hybrid of in-office and remote work. Key responsibilities include-

Record-Keeping & Reconciliation:

• Maintain accurate financial records in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Odoo).
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and company accounts.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

• Process vendor invoices, payments, and employee reimbursements.
• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.

Reporting:

• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports for management.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
• Organize and maintain financial records for audits or tax filings.

Administrative Support:

• Support with clerical tasks as needed.
• Assist with expense tracking and reporting for special projects or events.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Odoo, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus but not required.
