Circulator Operting Nurse (RN)

40 Guaranteed Hours

Effingham Hospital is seeking a skilled and experienced OR Circulator Nurse to join our team for a 13-week contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic surgical environment while gaining valuable experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal patient care during procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, ensuring sterility and safety.
• Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and draping.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide necessary supplies and equipment.
• Monitor patient's condition and vital signs throughout the procedure.
• Administer medications and blood products as directed.
• Participate in the documentation of patient care.

Qualifications:

• Active Georgia RN license.
• Minimum of one year of experience in general surgery, robotic, and orthopedic cases.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of perioperative nursing practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• BLS certification required.

Schedule:

• Day shift (7a-3p), with potential for schedule fluctuations based on caseload.
• 2 days of call per week paid at 1.3x for call-ins
