Network Security Engineer SingTone Technologies, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and certified Network Security Engineer to join our Information Systems team. In this critical role, you will design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient network infrastructure that supports 24/7 operations.

You'll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to lead network security initiatives, enforce industry best practices, and ensure compliance across mission-critical systems. This position requires deep expertise in Palo Alto and Cisco technologies, along with hands-on experience in firewalls, intrusion prevention, VPNs, and cloud-based security solutions.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of leading complex security projects while producing high-quality documentation. This is a hybrid role requiring a strong presence both onsite and remotely.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Information Technology (or related field).

• Active PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer).

• Active CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) - Enterprise or Security.

• U.S.-based, eligible to work in the U.S., and able to work hybrid as described.

Experience With:

• 5+ years with Palo Alto: NGFWs, VPNs, DLP, SSL inspection, content filtering

• 4+ years Cisco switching, routing, wireless

• Experience with:

• A10 load balancers, reverse proxies

• Cisco ISE, ACLs, Radius

• MFA (Microsoft), 802.1X, PKI, Nessus, NMAP

• Wireshark, Panorama, SolarWinds, Linux/Windows/Unix

• Micro-segmentation and scalable routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.

• 10+ years of experience in IT networking and security (CONUS).

• Additional certifications:

• PCCSE (Prisma Certified Cloud Security Engineer)

• CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) - Enterprise or Security

Essential Job Functions:

• Design and implement secure network architectures and solutions.

• Lead the deployment and migration of next-generation network security platforms.

• Troubleshoot and resolve network performance and security issues.

• Produce and maintain detailed network documentation and diagrams.

• Support ongoing monitoring, capacity planning, and vulnerability management.

• Provide mentoring, guidance, and technical leadership to junior engineers.

• Coordinate and communicate effectively across cross-functional teams.

• Deliver regular status updates and participate in project planning.

Certifications:

• PCCSE (Prisma Certified Cloud Security Engineer)

• CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) - Enterprise or Security

• Active PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer).

• Active CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) - Enterprise or Security

Work Status:

• Hybrid Schedule (Initial 6 months):

• 2 days remote + 3 days on-site (Annapolis, MD)

• Post-Review: May shift to 3 days remote + 2 days on-site with approval

• Must be able to report on-site within 4 hours if required

• Remote work must be U.S.-based (no overseas access permitted)
