Job Description

At ERC Pathlight, our mission lights the way for your passion.

Who we are:

With over 30 locations throughout the U.S. and treatment options available virtually, ERC Pathlight meets patients where they’re at to offer innovative, compassionate, and comprehensive treatment for eating disorders, as well as mood, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders.

We were founded in 2008 by pre-eminent psychiatrists and psychologists and treat 6,000+ patients per year. With the critical need for mental health care and eating disorder treatment, we’re looking for passionate and qualified professionals who will live out our mission to help save the lives of our patients.

What you’ll be doing:

This is by no means a “behind-the-scenes" role, as your work will help the company serve patients daily in a multitude of ways.

The Marketing Communications Manager will oversee marketing projects and the execution process across our Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer (B2C) marketing and communications initiatives in the behavioral health field. This role will report directly to the Director of Communications and collaborate cross-functionally with various teams, including marketing, executive leadership, the clinical team, external stakeholders, freelancers, and vendors. Primary responsibility will be managing multiple high-volume, time-sensitive marketing and communications projects, and ensure that all content is utilized effectively across different marketing channels. This is a dynamic role requiring strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a deep understanding of the end to end project management process.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Project Management and Organization: Self-starter with exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously, while forecasting and meeting resource-dependent deadlines. Excellent time management abilities to efficiently plan project workflows, allocate resources, and prioritize tasks, ensuring projects stay on track and meet deadlines. Identify operational challenges, propose solutions, and streamline processes to improve efficiency and campaign workflows. Able to interpret feedback and translate it into actionable next steps for campaign improvements.
  • Content Management: Own and maintain the content calendar and library, ensuring high-quality content is developed, curated, scheduled, and available for distribution across multiple channels. Ensure consistency with the brand strategy and easy access for the marketing team.
  • Internal Communications: Drives the content calendar for our internal communications strategy and execution, including oversight of our company communication platforms. Collaborate closely with the marketing team and relevant stakeholders to craft on-brand messaging for both print and digital marketing materials. Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors to ensure successful collaboration on internal communication content.
  • Process Documentation: Create and maintain clear documentation of marketing operations processes, including workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), best practices for campaign management, content creation, and regular updates to improve team efficiency.
  • Reporting and Support: Measures progress and results of marketing initiatives, facilitates readouts with departmental leadership, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3+ years of experience in managing marketing projects.
  • Excellent spoken, written and visual communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects, timelines, resources, and budgets from planning to execution.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Experience managing freelancers and vendors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
  • Self-motivated, approachable, and eager to collaborate with others, while demonstrating good judgment and a positive attitude.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, which may include working occasional nights and weekends.

What’s in it for you:

Every role at ERC Pathlight is essential to delivering the high-quality care we promise to our patients. This means that from day one, we’re here to support your role whether that means collaborating on monthly/quarterly goals, introducing you to mentors you can learn from, connecting you to continuing education resources and supplying you with the tools needed to not only excel but achieve measurable growth.

What we offer:

Healthy organizations value the mental wellness of their teams, and we understand that the professionals who work for us are not immune to their own mental health conditions. In the same way we observe and guide our patients, we take the same consideration for our employees when building our benefits packages and healthcare offerings. Teammates (and their families) are eligible to enroll in medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Eligible teammates will receive 5.54 hours of paid time off every pay period for your first two years of employment as well as 40 hours of paid parental leave will also be available for use. We also offer competitive pay, 401(K) with company match and tuition reimbursement.

Compensation starting range for the Marketing Communications Manager role is $85,000 to $95,000. Ranges are based upon market expectations and are dependent upon candidate experience.
