Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Marketing & Fundraising Trainee to join our team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals who are eager to gain hands-on experience in marketing and fundraising within the nonprofit sector. As a trainee, you will be trained in key aspects of event marketing, fundraising strategies, community outreach, and donor relations, all while contributing to meaningful causes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns for nonprofit clients to increase awareness and drive engagement.
  • Support fundraising initiatives , including planning and organizing fundraising events, donor engagement activities, and campaigns.
  • Help with the creation of promotional materials (flyers, social media posts, event signage) to ensure alignment with nonprofit goals.
  • Conduct outreach to potential donors, volunteers, and community partners to encourage participation and support for nonprofit events and initiatives.
  • Assist in tracking donations, sponsorships, and participant engagement to ensure fundraising goals are met.
  • Work alongside the marketing team to analyze the effectiveness of campaigns and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Support event logistics, including coordinating materials, setting up, and ensuring smooth operations during in-person fundraising events.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss marketing and fundraising strategies and track progress on key projects.

  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • 2-year or 4-year degree in marketing, communications, nonprofit management, business, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Previous experience in event coordination , fundraising , or volunteer management is a plus, but not necessary.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach and an eagerness to contribute to team success.
