MBI Health Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Logistics Manager to oversee the supply chain, procurement, and operational logistics that keep our multi-site behavioral health programs running smoothly. This is your opportunity to ensure that frontline clinical teams have the resources they need—when and where they need them-to provide exceptional care.
The Logistics Manager oversees the daily operations and supply chain logistics of MBI facilities to ensure efficient service delivery, compliance with healthcare regulations, and optimal resource utilization. This role involves managing procurement, inventory, facility operations, equipment maintenance, and vendor relations, while supporting clinical and administrative teams in delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
Oversee day-to-day operational functions across departments and sites.
Coordinate facility maintenance, housekeeping, waste management, and security to maintain a safe and clean environment.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.
Monitor and report on operational performance, identifying areas for process improvement.
Logistics & Supply Chain Management:
Manage the procurement and distribution of medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals.
Maintain optimal inventory levels through accurate forecasting and tracking.
Develop strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely deliveries.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in storage and handling of supplies.
Staff Supervision & Collaboration:
Supervise and support logistics and operations staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and training.
Collaborate with clinical teams to anticipate and fulfill operational and logistical needs.
Coordinate with IT, HR, finance, and other departments to align operations with facility goals.
Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, Joint Commission).
Participate in audits and inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
Support emergency preparedness and response planning, including inventory and equipment readiness.
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
5+ years of experience in healthcare operations or logistics management.
Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance standards and supply chain best practices.
Proficient in logistics software and inventory management systems.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
:
Lean Six Sigma certification or similar process improvement training.
Experience managing multi-site operations.
Annual salary of $70,000 or higher, based on experience and qualifications
