Job Description:
Lead the design, deployment, and presentation of modern, scalable infrastructure solutions across multi-vendor environments.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Architect and present solutions for clients across infrastructure domains

• Deploy solutions manually or programmatically in lab and production

• Troubleshoot complex networking and systems issues

• Collaborate in both pre-sales and delivery roles

• Research and implement technologies from vendors like Cisco, VMware, Palo Alto, AWS, and Azure

• Occasionally travel (2–3 trips per year, US-based)

Requirements:

• Must-Haves:

  • 1 expert-level certification (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE, VCDX, RHCA) – must involve a hands-on lab exam

  • Deep networking expertise: switching, routing, OSI model (Layers 1–3), and TCP/IP stack

  • Strong foundation in network protocols, NAT, subnetting, VLANs, spanning-tree, etc.

  • Experience in infrastructure technologies beyond networking: cloud, storage, compute

  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills

  • Willingness and ability to continuously learn and adapt

• Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with systems integrators or service providers

  • Multiple expert-level certifications

  • Familiarity with scripting, automation (Ansible, Terraform), and cloud migration

  • Exposure to diverse platforms (e.g., ThousandEyes, Hyper-V, KVM, Meraki, DNAC)

  • Previous pre-sales or solutions architecture experience
