Description We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to support our Mid-Atlantic facilities in the Shenandoah Valley area. This role is essential in fostering a positive work environment and driving key HR initiatives, including employee relations, recruiting, and performance management. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to improving HR processes and ensuring compliance while contributing to the overall success of our teams. Responsibilities: - Ensure adherence to federal and state employment laws as well as company policies, maintaining compliance within all HR practices. - Facilitate performance management processes, including coaching supervisors, organizing reviews, and ensuring proper documentation. - Manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing and technical positions. - Maintain and update HR data within company systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency. - Identify and implement process improvements to streamline and automate HR operations. - Oversee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for employees. - Handle sensitive employee information with the utmost professionalism and confidentiality. - Support employee engagement activities and contribute to broader HR initiatives across multiple sites. - Travel periodically to provide onsite HR support, approximately 5-10% Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification is a plus. - 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting. - Comprehensive knowledge of Virginia employment laws and HR compliance standards. - Proficiency in HR information systems, such as Workday or similar platforms, along with experience in data reporting and process optimization. - Proven track record in recruiting for technical roles within manufacturing environments. - Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. - Ability to handle multiple priorities across various locations with efficiency. - High level of integrity and discretion when managing sensitive information.
