Opportunity Information

Gould Medical Group is looking for a BE/BC Lead Palliative Care physician in Modesto, CA.

Position Details:

• Starting base salary: $265,231
• Two-year salary guarantee
• Sign-on bonus
• Palliative Medicine consultation services in multiple settings: Hospital, Office and Home.
• Coordinate with attending physicians, subspecialists and the Palliative Supportive Care interdisciplinary team to formulate a comprehensive, coordinated and compassionate plan of care for each patient and family facing serious illness.
• Facilitate access to appropriate supportive care services. Coordinate care with hospital-based palliative care services, outside agencies and local hospices.
• Assist in the development of palliative supportive care standards, and care tools as well as Quality Improvement and Lean Methodologies.
• Advocate for and educate about Palliative Care with physicians and other clinicians, as well as foundation partners and the community at large
• Provide mentorship and serve as a resource for future Palliative Care physicians/clinicians and the broader care team.
• Participate in Palliative Care committees within Sutter at large.
