EDBC Functional Tester

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Strong background in Integrated Eligibility systems, with a preference for experience on the client systems.
• Exposure to modules such as Eligibility Determination and Benefit Calculation (EDBC), along with a solid understanding of rule engine frameworks, decision authoring and editing, and versioning of rules, will be a significant advantage.
• This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex testing strategies and systems to support our business needs.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to modules such as Eligibility Determination and Benefit Calculation (EDBC).
• Solid understanding of rule engine frameworks, decision authoring and editing, and versioning of rules.

Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Strategy:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality test plans and strategies for software solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
• Utilize ODM (Operational Decision Manager) to implement business rules and decision management test solutions.
• Work on Integrated Eligibility systems, focusing on enhancing and maintaining existing testing solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.

Test Execution:

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs in collaboration with the development team.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation by developing and executing automated test scripts.

Cloud and Database Testing:

Utilize AWS cloud services to deploy, manage, and scale test environments.

Work with Oracle databases to design, develop, and optimize database test solutions.

Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior testers.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process.
