JOB POSTING:

The Concierge is responsible for efficiently and effectively answering phones, greeting guest and club members to ensure world class services and a memorable experience. All efforts are focused on providing exceptional guests services while embodying the team spirit and ERRICH core values of the Chappellet Winery and Vineyards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

•  Serve as the face of Chappellet by providing exceptional customer service

•  Enthusiastically welcome guests at the winery

•  Assist guests with navigating tasting experiences and explaining options

•  Schedule guest experiences via phone, gathering necessary information in a professional and friendly manner

•  Provide general Wine Country information (dining, winery, etc.) to guests over the phone and in person

•  Efficiently utilize POS system to process tasting fees and wine orders

•  Work collaboratively with DTC team to organize and manage the daily customer experience

•  Creating, printing and collating collateral for guest experiences and special events

•  Assist with hospitality special events as needed

•  Participates in company-sponsored wine educational and development opportunities.

•  Assist with receiving and restocking of wine and/or merchandise

•  Washes and polishes glassware for Tasting Room.

•  Assist with hospitality special events as needed

•  Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•  Education: High School degree required

•  Experience: One to two years of customer service in retail and/or tasting room environment

•  Outstanding customer service skills

•  Some knowledge of wine and wine production

•  Attentiveness, calmness, and creativity in dealing with customers

•  Strong interpersonal skills, proven ability to communicate effectively and work well with other employees
Analytical and problem-solving skills

•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•  Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow through with projects

•  Excellent organization and time management skills

•  Shows commitment to excellence and high work standards

•  Flexible and can manage constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

•  Work independently without Supervision, as well as part of large groups and teams

•  Strong Computer skills (POS systems, Microsoft Word and Excel)

•  Available to work varied hours, nights, weekends and holidays

•  Ability to lift 50 pounds

•  Stand or sit for extended periods of time

•  Must be at least 21 years old
