Overview :
APQC is looking for its next world class marketing professional to help grow our audience. This demand generation specialist is responsible for developing and implementing online marketing strategies that result in increasing demand for APQC products and services. The individual must have demonstrated results in applying marketing approaches across digital channels, including content marketing, digital campaign strategy, digital experience across the web, and display advertising. The primary goal of the role is to drive targeted traffic that results in a growth in audience engagement and generates leads.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of engaging and growing audiences using digital assets. Success will be evaluated using three primary indicators: Growing audiences in key areas, member engagement and lead generation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective digital marketing strategies that result in the ability to grow APQC audiences in process management, knowledge management and thought leadership.
- Execute effective marketing strategies that provide demonstrated results in meeting specific product groups' need for leads based on behavioral scores.
- Manage digital advertising campaigns end-to-end, including planning, targeting, set-up, testing execution, reporting and optimization across various platforms, such as social media, display networks, and apqc.org.
- Digital ideation and delivery of front-end changes on our website that result in enhanced customer experience (UX/UI) and engagement. This includes developing web templates in our CMS and updating content on our website.
- Creation and delivery of user optimized landing pages for conversions.
- Drive APQC thought leadership for demand generation by working with others to build awareness and conversion pieces to be used across all digital platforms.
- Work with the content marketing strategist on content creation and distribution.
- Work with the SEO specialist to optimize paid advertising campaigns and website updates using SEO and other tools.
- Work with the marketing automation lead to create dedicated nurture programs and email campaigns.
Successful performance within the role will be evaluated using three primary Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Audience growth across 3 – 5 key segments including process management discipline, knowledge management discipline, professional services sector and thought leadership discipline.
- Lead generation as defined by APQC’s standard definition
- Member engagement in APQC content
Qualifications & Skills: - Minimum bachelor’s degree in marketing or similar field
- Minimum 7 – 10 years engaged in growing audiences and creating demand using digital platforms.
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
- Experience in integrating and optimizing digital content into multiple distribution channels (web, advertising and social)
- Experience in optimizing webpages and user funnels to enhance a customer’s digital experience.
- Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics etc.)
- Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on search engines, social media and other ad serving platforms.
- Knowledge of basic HTML and web publishing.
- Experience developing best-in-class UX and UI design principles.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with marketing and technology teams to drive results.
