We’re currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our team.

Job Summary:

As an EDDA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental care and supporting the dentist in all clinical procedures. We’re looking for a motivated professional who is confident in their skills, compassionate with patients, and eager to grow within a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures

• Perform expanded functions as allowed under Colorado law (e.g., placing fillings, taking final digital impressions, fabricating temporary crowns, etc.)

• Take and develop digital dental radiographs (X-rays)

• Ensure patients are comfortable before, during, and after treatment

• Maintain and sterilize dental instruments and treatment areas

• Provide patient education and post-operative instructions

• Accurately chart conditions and treatment in patient records

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

• Valid EDDA certification in the state of Colorado preferred

• Current CPR certification, X-ray certification

• Minimum 2 years of EDDA experience preferred

• Proficient in Dentrix Ascend dental software preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented and dependable with a positive attitude
