Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated intern to join our cloud automation team for the summer. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cloud technologies, automation, and software development.
Responsibilities - Assist in developing automation scripts using HashiCorp and Ansible tools
- Help create and maintain documentation for automation processes
- Participate in the implementation of basic CI/CD pipelines
- Contribute to the development of simple APIs
- Assist in testing automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code solutions
- Shadow experienced team members and learn about cloud-based solutions
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements
- Provide bi-weekly project presentations, leading up to final.
Requirements - Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts (AWS or GCP, OCI)
- Familiarity with at least one programming language (preferably Python, NodeJS, Go)
- Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Eagerness to learn about infrastructure-as-code and automation tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work in a team environment
Desired Skills (not Required) - Basic understanding of networking concepts
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies
- Experience with any cloud automation tools or frameworks
This internship will provide hands-on experience in cloud automation and expose you to industry-standard tools and practices. You will work alongside experienced professionals and gain valuable skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The pay range for this role is $25/hr.
