**Assembly Technician**
Concord, North Carolina | Contract-to-Hire
**Position Overview**
Join a stable, team-focused shop where your work directly supports first-responder and service fleets. As an Assembly Technician, you will install, diagnose, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to the highest standards of safety and reliability.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Perform preventative maintenance and new equipment installations on company and customer vehicles.
+ Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems for optimal performance.
+ Document every repair in Microsoft Planner and track work orders with precision.
+ Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
+ Inspect components for reuse, control costs, and alert supervisors to potential overruns.
+ Keep your workstation clean, organized, and continuously improved for safety and speed.
**Required Skills**
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Planner, Teams, and Excel.
+ Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, and welding.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Strong foundation in mechanical assembly and electrical repair.
**Valued Additional Qualifications**
+ Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems.
+ Knowledge of electric motor repair.

**Work Environment**
+ Clean, well-lit, open-bay garage (non-climate-controlled).
+ Tobacco-free facility.
+ Safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and uniforms provided.
+ Small, supportive crew of 10 (technicians + office staff).
+ Occasional ladder work and moderate physical demands.
**Schedule & Structure**
+ Monday- Friday 7:00am-3:30pm; Some Saturdays but not often. Overtime can be up to 50 to 60 hours a week
+ 90-day contract-to-hire with guaranteed full-time conversion and raise.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Concord, NC.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
