Apartment Property Manager Location Hybrid work in Cincinnati, OH :

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Apartment Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential community. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of property management. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining the property, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and managing administrative tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws related to property management.
  • Utilize Appfolio software for lease administration and tenant management.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team on work orders and assist with scheduling with the tenant on work orders.
  • Oversee the preparation and execution of contracts related to property services.
  • Implement policies and procedures to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure maintenance standards are met.
  • Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly, providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, maintenance requests, and financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors for property maintenance and improvements.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with laws governing residential properties and tenant rights.
  • Proficient in using AppFolio or similar property management software.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with tenants.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in real estate administrative tasks including record keeping and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM), especially AppFolio is a plus.
