Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Android Developer with strong expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android architecture components. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and building scalable, high-performance Android applications while adhering to best practices like MVVM, Dependency Injection, and SOLID principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
Implement clean architecture patterns (MVVM) and state management using LiveData/Flow.
Build reusable UI components, manage Compose lifecycle, and handle recompositions efficiently.
Integrate with REST APIs using Retrofit and other networking libraries.
Implement Coroutines for asynchronous programming with proper dispatcher usage.
Utilize Dependency Injection frameworks like Hilt/Dagger 2 for modular and testable code.
Work with RecyclerView, Adapters, ViewHolders, and Compose equivalents (LazyColumn/LazyRow).
Apply SOLID principles and write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, QA, Backend) to deliver high-quality features.
Perform code reviews, optimize performance, and ensure best coding practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
3+ years of professional Android development experience.
Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK.
Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and state management (remember, mutableStateOf, etc.).
Deep understanding of Android lifecycles (Activity, Fragment, and Compose).
Expertise in Coroutines (launch vs async, structured concurrency, dispatchers).
Experience with Retrofit, Gson/Moshi, and API integration.
Proficiency with Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger 2).
Strong understanding of RecyclerView and modern UI architecture.
Knowledge of Observer pattern, LiveData, and Flow.
Solid grasp of SOLID principles and clean architecture practices.
Experience in unit testing and instrumented testing (JUnit, Espresso).
