Are you ready to take off on your next career with us?Job Summary The Ramp Service Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing ramp operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with all regulatory and company standards. This role involves directing supervisory personnel, managing staffing levels, monitoring performance, and implementing corrective actions as needed. The Duty Manager serves as a key liaison between frontline supervisors and senior management, facilitating communication, addressing operational challenges, and driving continuous improvement to maintain high service standards and customer satisfaction.Responsibilities

  • Oversee ramp operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Lead and support supervisory staff in training, staffing, and performance management.
  • Monitor and optimize workforce efficiency and resource allocation.
  • Ensure timely aircraft turnaround and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Act as a liaison between supervisors and senior management.
  • Address operational challenges to minimize service disruptions.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and implement service improvements.
  • Enforce company policies, conduct performance reviews, and manage discipline.
  • Prepare reports on operations, incidents, and compliance.Minimum Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in ground operations or ramp services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in aviation, logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Understanding of ramp operations, safety protocols, and FAA regulations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain airport security badge.
  • Ability to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.Preferred Skills
  • Proven leadership in managing teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Knowledge of ground service equipment and ramp management software.
  • Ability to resolve operational issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse teams and external stakeholders.
  • Additional certifications in aviation or safety management.Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, etc.).
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
